Quotes about Dan...

"Dan Hynes, a Democrat incumbent seeking to remain the state’s comptroller, has made himself available to The Journal-Standard editorial board, and elsewhere locally, where he has proven himself knowledgeable on area issues, right on the mark in his attempts to balance the state checkbook; and consistent and sincere in his desire to restore integrity to state government."

Welcome...

Dear Friends,

I would like to first thank you for re-electing me as your Illinois State Comptroller. I am humbled by the fact that over 2 million voters have validated my efforts of bringing about real change in Springfield. While we have enjoyed and celebrated our Election Day victories, it is time to re-focus on the important issues that face the people of Illinois.
Over the next four years, my efforts will be aimed at ending the gimmicks that plague our budgetary process and demand that we institute meaningful reforms. I will continue to fight for long-term funding for stem cell research in Illinois, so we may see cures to the most debilitating diseases that affect all families. Finally, I will work tirelessly to make certain that we end pay-to-play politics in Illinois and restore the people’s faith and trust in government.
In addition to these and other issues, I pledge to work as hard as I can to improve the lives of Illinoisans and continue to be the voice for change in Springfield.

Thanks again for all of your support.

Daniel W. Hynes
